Not just the obvious low financial overheads of a freelance designer but also the organizational and structural overheads. No armies of support staff, no marble waiting rooms and leather couches, no meetings just for the sake of meetings. Only time spent working with you or working on your projects.

Because we’re not a large organization, you get to work directly with the person responsible for your project. That direct communication enables projects to run smoothly because you get answers quickly and there’s less room for costly misunderstandings as information is passed from department to department.

If you believe in having your calls returned promptly, having someone genuinely care about what you want and someone who isn’t just trying to make a quick buck, then you’ll enjoy working with us.

It’s the small things that really make the difference and it’s the small things that are so often neglected. We pride ourselves in “sweating the small stuff” because it means we can look you in the eye when we say we have taken care of everything.

To surpass someone’s expectations, you have to go the extra mile. The reason why we go above and beyond what’s expected is that we enjoy seeing your smile when we show you what we did.

This goes without question. As a small business, we rely on our past achievements and referrals to do the selling for us. We can’t afford NOT to provide a quality service otherwise it’s bread and water for dinner.

Graphic design is a creative process. Web design and programming require very logical thought processes. Very few people posses both those talents but Mat Robinson was born an artist and can turn to his 15 years of hard core programming experience to produce web sites that are not only visually stunning but practical, functional and built on a thorough understanding of web technology. We don’t argue between the graphic designer who thinks his design is perfect and the programmer who says it can’t be done because it’s the same person doing it.

Growing up I was told to study hard and become a software engineer because that’s where the money would be. Now that I’m grown up I realized I should have become an artist instead. Web design allows me to flex my creative muscles and yet still make use of my many years as a professional software engineer. Waking up looking forward to starting work is a wonderful thing.

Design is a creative process. If it’s rushed, the design will lack a lot of the effectiveness and subtlety of a cleverly thought out design. With web design especially, we can also avoid unforeseen problems and additional costs down the road by planning ahead, building road maps, and properly understanding the needs of the people who will view the designs. Extra thinking time soon pays for itself with successful results.

OK, this last one sounds a little off the wall. What we mean is that everybody has a nephew or cousin or neighbor who has taken a class in web design at school. That’s great, but there’s a big difference between a site that looks pretty and one that does its job well. Designing an effective web site is much more complex and requires a great depth of knowledge to achieve the site's goal and also avoid the many gotcha's. We’re professionals. And there’s a good reason why we’ve been in business for this long……...it’s because we’re not your teenage nephew who’s learning web design at school.
